COMPANY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms: We accept all major credit cards or payments through Paypal. If you wish to open a FREE Paypal account, follow the on screen instructions at check out. If you wish to pay without a PayPal account choose the "Checkout" option and follow the "Don't have a PayPal account" instructions. We offer terms to customers who provide us with acceptable credit information. If you’re interested in opening a credit account with us download our credit application and fax it to us at 239-934-0288. Po's are accepted from Government agencies, including, PD Dept's, Hospitals, Fire Dept., Schools, etc with a hard copy of the purchase order.

Placing an order: Orders may be placed on this website or for personal service call 1-800-399-3224 or you may request a call back by  emailing us at support@comfortel.com.

No Obligation Trials: Comfort Telecommunications, Inc. is excited to offer a no obligation 30-day trials for Smith Corona products only. In addition, we also provide you with a FEDEX prepaid return tag to return any unwanted equipment. Return labels are mailed with a copy of the invoice or you may request a label be emailed to you. Trial equipment cannot be returned after 30 days and payment is expected. Please contact our sales department for more information. Trials are not offered to individuals.

Returns for NON DOA products: RMA numbers are not required however you must you contact your sales rep to avoid any errors and included an explanation to why you are returning the product.  Returns will not be accepted after 30 days from the date of invoicing. New Smith Corona products carry a 30 day return policy. A 20% restock fee may apply if SC equipment is not returned in NEW condition. Refurbished Smith Corona, Plantronics, GN Netcom/Jabra and all other manufacturers' products carry up to a 30 day return policy. All brands of equipment with a warranty of 90 days or less carries a 15 day return policy. For the return of NEW Plantronics, Jabra and telephones, we are bound by these companies return policies which is 10 days from receipt. RETURNED EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE IN THE SAME PERFECT CONDITION AS RECEIVED INCLUDING THE PACKAGING.
 
Before you attempt to return equipment please read the following information:

DO NOT RETURN EQUIPMENT WITH MISSING PAPERWORK, INCLUDING CARD BOARD INSERTS OR PARTS.
3.
DO NOT USE STAPLES, STICKERS OR TAPE ON THE PRODUCT BOX.
4.
DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT BOX TO SHIP THE ITEM BACK.
5.
DO NOT RETURN AN ITEM IF YOU'VE HAD IT FOR MORE THAN 30 OR 15 DAYS, SEE EXPLANATION ABOVE
6. DO NOT RETURN AN ITEM IF IT IS NOT IN THE SAME NEW CONDITION AS RECEIVED

**A restock fee of up to $50.00 may be applied to returns of Plantronics and Jabra equipment. Shipping charges are NOT refundable.**


Exchange: If within 30 days of purchase you are not happy with your purchase and would like to discuss an exchange, please contact your sales representative or email support@comfortel.com

Defective Equipment - Advance Replacement: Comfort Telecommunications, Inc. will exchange equipment which is found to be defective during the first 30 days of service. Exceptions may apply. You must contact your sales representative for details. Email your rep, call 800-399-3224 or email support@comforel.com to be directed to your representative. Loaner equipment is NOT available during the replacement process.

General Repairs: An RMA# is not necessary to return headsets for repair. To expedite your repair please include in your shipment a packing slip or
download our form and include it in your shipment. You will be contacted by your representative about any discrepancies in inventory and any out of warranty charges. This will give you the opportunity to take advantage of our TRADE-UP or TRADE-IN program to help you make the best cost effective decision for you and your company. Our warranty covers defects in material and workmanship; it also covers wear and tear from normal use. Abuse is not covered and will void the warranty. Loaner equipment is NOT available during the replacement process.

New Warranty Repairs: Most Smith Corona products carry a three-year repair warranty. Please be advised that tampering with warranty codes will void the warranty. For questions concerning warranty codes, please contact your sales representative. Plantronics, GN Netcom/Jabra and any equipment other than Smith Corona, when purchased new are covered under the factory warranty and should be sent directly back to them. page.  Our warranty covers defects in material and workmanship; it also covers wear and tear from normal use. If we return equipment to Plantronics, GN Netcom/Jabra, Polycom..etc for you, you will be responsible for the shipping charges. For all manufactured headsets abuse is not covered and will void the warranty. PLEASE NOTE: We do not send loaners out to customers' while equipment is being repaired. It is the customers' responsible to ship the repair to us. 

Refurbished Warranty: All refurbished equipment purchased from Comfort Telecommunications, Inc carries a warranty from 30 days and up depending on the equipment. Warranty information is available with all advertised equipment or as explained by your sales representative. Our warranty covers defects in material and workmanship; it also covers wear and tear from normal use. Abuse is not covered and will void the warranty. We will pay for return shipping Fedex ground IF the equipment is under our warranty.

Shipping Charges: Shipping charges will be automatically added to the order at checkout. Fedex ground is offered on this website however if you wish to expedite your order to another FEDEX or UPS service please call and we'll be glad to help you with that. PAYPAL CANNOT CALCULATE THE CORRECT SHIPPING CHARGES FOR ORDERS BEING SHIPPED OUTSIDE OF THE LOWER 48 STATES. You MUST call in your order if it is being shipped outside of the continental USA. Once we calculate the shipping amount a request for payment will be sent to you through PayPal or you may provide a credit card over the phone. If you place an order to ship outside of the lower 48 states, we will call you with the additional shipping charges. If you wish us to ship on your Fedex or UPS account number you will need to call your order into our office at 1-800-399-3224.

Automatic online UPS Ground shipping charges are calculated as follows:
                             From   $0.01 to $20.00 = $6.50
                                     $20.01 to $100.00 = $12.95
                                   $100.01 to $200.00 = $16.95
                                   $200.01 to $299.99 = $20.95
                                   $300.00 and up = Free Ground


Drop Shipment: If you wish to drop-ship (Blind) to your customer, please call us at 1-800-399-3224 to place your order.
